Assessing Two Poems

The comparison between two poems best analyzed throughout the form and meaning in the pieces. " Mother to Son" and " Harlem (A Wish Deferred)" both written by the profound poet person Langston Hughes, depicts a large number of similarities and differences between the poems. The poem can be conveyed in a really " right down to earth" method. An example of this is, " Your life for me ain't been a crystal step (462). " This estimate shows you that the mother is trying to train the son a lessons with out sugars coating it. She would like her boy to know that throughout her life has received many obstacles to overcome, and that he also is going to need to get through his own obstacles no matter how frustrating it is.
